The MIL-DTL-5015 Series Military standard is a 10-size, 2-pin female connector, which we call the opposing cable type. The product codes for the connectors that can be used with this product are the MS3106F 10SL-4P male cable connector and the MS3108F 10SL-4P male cable connector with a 90-degree backshell. The connector has 16 size pins and can carry a maximum current of 13 amps through its contacts. The products are secured together by inserting the movable part, that is, the cable connector, into its counterpart and then rotating the sleeve on the movable part. The opposing cable connector is used in areas where a panel-type connector is not used or when a panel-type connector cannot be mounted on a device. It allows us to joint or secure two cables together in a mobile manner in mid-air. In short, opposing connectors are preferred for connecting two cables together safely and movably in mid-air.
